Rachio will connect to other Smart Home technologies like Nest, Amazon Alexa, Nexia, IFTTT and many others to help you complete your entire smart connectivity. Install was very simple — it took about 40 minutes — and it connected quickly to my home WiFi. The app allows you to water based on past settings or adjust for weather. It also has Weather Intelligence to know if there’s a heat wave coming or a chance of rain in the forecast.
